Wildflower Planting

Join the Chicago Park District and youth volunteers from the Coalition for a Better Chinese-American Community (CBCAC) for Wildflower Planting from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 15, 2021, in the natural area in McKinley Park, 2210 W. Pershing Road, Chicago.

More than 4,500 wildflowers will be planted in McKinley Park's natural area to diversity its plant life, with the assistance of a Chicago Park District crew. Meet at the stump circle in the natural area on the east side of the lagoon.

Masks are required, and capacity is limited in order to maintain social distancing. Work gloves will be provided, but participants should wear long pants and closed-toe shoes, and be prepared to get dirty.
