Adaptive Boccia

From Monday, June 1, 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm

Disabled athletes can train and get fit at Adaptive Boccia, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays at the McKinley Park field house, 2210 W. Pershing Road, Chicago.

This free program offers athletes the opportunity to test coordination, accuracy, concentration and strategy while learning the sport of Paralympic Boccia. They will throw, kick, or use an assistive device to propel leather balls as close as possible to a white target ball (the jack).

For more information on this program, contact Adaptive Sports Program & Event Coordinator Sheena Hager by calling (312) 745-2180 or emailing
