Movies in the Parks: Selena

Enjoy a film screening under open skies at Movies in the Parks: Selena, starting at dusk (approximately from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.) at McKinley Park, 2210 W. Pershing Road, Chicago.

The 1997 film Selena tells the true story of Selena Quintanilla-Perez, a Texas-born Tejano singer who rose from cult status to performing at the Astrodome, and whose songs topped Latin Music charts. The movie stars Jennifer Lopez, is rate PG and runs for 127 minutes. The presentation comes to McKinley Park courtesy of the Chicago Park District.

In accordance with Be Safe Chicago Phase IV Guidelines for Parks and Recreation Activities, attendees will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing at all times while participating. Patrons who are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 are asked to stay home and enjoy a Movie in the Park at another time.
