Join Preservation Chicago for a Central Maufacturing District Walking Tour from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, conducted online and in-person at Chicago's Original East District of the Central Manufacturing District in the McKinley Park neighborhood.

Learn about this area: an artifact of industrial history and design named as Preservation Chicago's "Chicago 7 Most Endangered" of 2021 and threatened by demolition and neglect.

Tour conductors are Ward Miller, executive director of Preservation Chicago; Director of Research & Special Projects Max Chavez; Jacob Kaplan, board vice president of Preservation Chicago and founder of Forgotten Chicago; and Susannah Ribstein, a Preservation Chicago board member, historic preservationist and community activist.
