Volunteer to help clean up the McKinley Park neighborhood's local waterway during the Chicago River Day on Bubbly Creek, 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the 35th Street Bridge over the South Fork of the South Branch of the Chicago River (aka Bubbly Creek) at 1300 W. 35th St., Chicago.
Sponsored by Friends of the Chicago River, the Bubbly Creek cleanup is one of many across the city. Volunteers who register before Friday, May 6, 2022 receive a Chicago River Day T-shirt as a special thank you gift. Registration will remain open until a site is at capacity.
