DESCRIPTION:Become a tutor and help adult immigrants learn English at Aquin
 as Literacy Center's English Literacy Tutor Training\, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on
  Saturday\, June 1\, 2024\, conducted at the center at 1751 W. 35th St.\, 
 Chicago.\nOnce trained\, each tutor will work with a student for 90 minute
 s per week. Tutoring takes place on a limited basis in person at the cente
 r and/or online. Knowledge of another language is not required of tutors —
  instruction takes place in English — however tutors must be native or nea
 r-native English speakers. After tutors complete training\, each will rece
 ive a certificate from and six-month membership to ProLiteracy.\nParticipa
