McKinley Dog Park Advisory Council Meeting

Help build and maintain the upcoming dog park in McKinley Park at the quarterly McKinley Dog Park Advisory Council Meeting, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019, at the McKinley Park field house, 2210 W. Pershing Road, Chicago.

Discussion will include:

• A brief history and overview of the efforts to bring a safe, legal, gated area with separate spaces for small dogs and large dogs to McKinley Park
• Reviewing the latest design from the park district and some of the park district's responses to our initial feedback
• The latest on the construction timeline (breaking ground and completion in 2019)
• Additional ways to get involved in 2019

If community involvement, getting out of the house, or doing more nice things for your dog are on your 2019 resolution list, the McKinleyDog PAC is the group to join!  We look forward to seeing many new and familiar faces!  We have volunteer opportunities for folks with all types of schedules/free time, and skills/interests.  Folks who are just curious and may not want to join the PAC are welcome to attend these meetings as well.
