DESCRIPTION:Become a tutor and help adult immigrants learn English at Aquin
 as Literacy Center's tutor training\, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday\, August 
 26\, 2016\, at the center at 3540 S. Hermitage Ave.\, Chicago. This is the
  second of a required two-part training program that also includes a 6 p.m
 . to 9 p.m. session on the preceding day (Friday\, August 26).\nOnce train
 ed\, each tutor will work with a student for 90 minutes per week between 9
  a.m. and 8 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays based on individuals' schedu
 les. All tutoring takes place at the center. Knowledge of another language
  is not required of tutors — instruction takes place in English — however 
 tutors must be native or near-native English speakers. A total of 13 hours
  of training is required before becoming a tutor\, including three hours f
 ollowing the tutor training sessions. After tutors complete training\, eac
 h will receive a certificate from ProLiteracy.\nA one-time fee of $25 pays
  for the cost of tutor training materials and refreshments during the work
