Property Tax Relief Workshop

Cook County 7th District Commissioner Jesus "Chuy" Garcia is hosting a Property Tax Relief Workshop at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at the Cook County 7th District Office, 3520 S. Archer Ave., Chicago.

This is the first in a series of workshops to help 7th District residents evaluate their residential property tax bills. Participants should bring property tax bills to the workshop, where 7th District staffers will assist with applying for maximum eligible exemptions and appealing taxes based on the assessed value of a property.

Other upcoming workshops in 2017 will take place on August 10, September 28, October 20, November 30 and December 14.
