Pączki Fest

Marz Community Brewing Company hosts Pączki Fest noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2019, at the Marz tap room, 3630 S. Iron St., Chicago.

A Pączki (pronounced "poonch-kee") is a round Polish pastry, typically with filling, that appears around the time of Fat Tuesday. The fest is the brewery's Polish Mardi Gras party with music, treats and beverages throughout the tap room. In addition to the release of Marz's special Pączki Milk Stout beer (and variants), the event features music performance by The Herbsaint Band and DJs from Lumpen Radio, many food options from local vendors, and free admission.
