CONSTRUCT academy: job training for construction

Establish core skills and follow opportunity into a well-paying career in the construction industry with the CONSTRUCT academy at the National Latino Education Institute (NLEI), 2011 W. Pershing Road, Chicago. 

The NLEI CONSTRUCT Infrastructure Academy provides participants with solid foundational industry knowledge and technical skills for successful entry into construction occupations and fields. It now includes project management, electrification, intro to estimating, climbing shoool and CRAFT tools.

  • Acquire hands-on experience in the field
  • Learn life skills and industry-required testing for employment
  • Overcome barriers to work in the construction industry

NLEI's experience trainers provide individual coaching and guidance, work with students on job placement opportunities.

NLEI has a job placement success rate of over 90 percent. This program is in collaboration with 20-plus major companies.

Classes begin soon, and CONSTRUCT is open at no cost to students. Eligibility requirements include being 18 years of age or older and high school equivalency/GED.
