National Latino Education Institute Needs Your Support

More
2 months 3 weeks ago #1 by Justin Kerr
The National Latino Education Institute (NLEI) has become an essential part of the McKinley Park neighborhood, offering innovative and highly regarded job training programs for skilled trades, as well as opening up their facilities to support so many of our community's groups.

NLEI now needs our help, as their major annual fund-raiser -- their 48th annual dinner gala -- is now postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Executive Director Elba Aranda-Suh writes:

While we have had to close our campus it is important to distinguish that our team continues to work remotely to continue serving our participants. This includes working closely with our healthcare partners meeting their critical healthcare workforce needs and collaboratively ensuring our community has information and resources on the most available bilingual/bicultural resources on COVID-19. Decades of NLEI Allied Health graduates are working on the frontline. ...

Now more than ever, your support will have a lasting impact on our Latino community and their families. We ask that you consider making a donation today, of any amount, to support this great mission. Your contribution will greatly assist NLEI in efforts to serve the most vulnerable in the Latino communities of Chicago.
