CAPS Beat 912

CAPS Beat 912

Connect with CAPS Beat 912 to get involved in public safety issues and combating crime in the McKinley Park neighborhood. We meet at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month at St. Maurice Church hall, 3625 S. Hoyne Ave., Chicago.

Led by community policing officers Jason Sollis and Holger Del Cid, plus beat facilitators Glenn and Christine Young, the Beat 912 CAPS group is one of the largest and most active in the City of Chicago. Join us at a meeting or event: We welcome your involvement!

The Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy (CAPS) is the City of Chicago's community policing program, which includes neighborhood meetings for each police beat. Beat 912 in the Ninth District of the Chicago Police Department covers the bulk of the McKinley Park neighborhood and is the primary area for coverage of our neighborhood's crime.

In addition to attending Beat 912 CAPS meetings, McKinley Park community members can connect with Chicago Police by calling 911 for immediate needs, connecting with the Ninth District headquarters for general public safety issues and sending email to
