Happy New Year! We wish you and yours all the best as we continue to labor on our micro-local news publication. As you might have noticed, attention has recently been pulled away from local news and events publishing: This stems from unexpected and extremely frustrating circumstances that distract from our solopreneur-driven enterprise.
However, we are catching up and will resume ongoing operations shortly, as well as soon share details about our delays and some encouraging progress. In the meantime, all site systems and content remain online, and we're looking forward to quickly getting back into the swing of things in 2026: our 10th year of publishing local news!
We thank you for your ongoing attention, engagement and patience, and look forward to sharing more of all that's going on in our wonderful Chicago neighborhood of McKinley Park.
Happy 2026!
