Cyber Security Action Day

From Saturday, October 13, 11:00 am until 3:00 pm

Learn best practices for protecting yourself online and get tips from cyber security experts at the Cyber Security Action Day, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the McKinley Park branch of the Chicago Public Library, 1915 W. 35th St., Chicago.

The event comes courtesy of the annual cyber security conference THOTCON, which is partnering with the library to provide tips and advice for improving cyber security. Talk to experts about passwords, patching and privacy, including information on best practices for restricting personal information and social media privacy settings.

Assistance is available to adults 18 years of age and older, with time segments potentially limited to 15 minutes. All sessions are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
