Chicago Blackhawks Hockey Clinics

Kids can get free expert hockey instruction at the Chicago Blackhawks Hockey Clinics, 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at the McKinley Park ice rink, 3801 S. Western Boulevard, Chicago.

Coached by the Fan Development staff of the Chicago Blackhawks, the free, learn-to-play hockey clinics offer skates and equipment at no cost, and all participants will also receive a free Blackhawks jersey to keep.

Two clinics are scheduled for different age groups: Children ages 5 to 8 years of age are slated for 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and kids ages 9 to 12 years of age will train from noon to 12:45 a.m. Prior ice skating experience and advance registration are required: Click here to register.

Participants should plan to arrive 20 to 30 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled clinic, and all participants are required to sign a waiver. Cancellation due to weather will take place no later than 4 hours prior to a clinic's scheduled start; all participants will receive advance notice of any cancellations.
