Air Quality Monitoring Day

Track the quality of our neighborhood's air at the Air Quality Monitoring Day from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at the National Latino Education Institute (NLEI), 2011 W. Pershing Road, Chicago.

Presented by the Environmental Law & Policy Center, the event provides attendees with handheld air quality monitors to track air pollutants around the McKinley Park neighborhood. Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared to walk 3 miles. The event will conclude back at NLEI to examine air quality data and opportunities to advocate for air quality in Chicago.

A light breakfast will be provided. Space is limited, and participants must RSVP in advance on the event's registration form.
