Neighborhood homeowners are invited to a Property Tax Assessment Workshop at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at the field house in McKinley Park, 2210 W. Pershing Rd., Chicago.

At the workshop, attendees will learn how to file a property tax appeal and how appeals are granted. Staff will be on-hand to assist and answer questions. Attendees must bring their second property tax installment paperwork or have their property tax index number on-hand.

Announced by 12th Ward Alderman George Cardenas, the workshop is presented in collaboration with Commissioner Michael A. Cabonargi from the Cook County Board of Review and 7th District Cook County Commissioner Jesus "Chuy" Garcia.
