Bubbly Creek History Tour
Join Friends of the Chicago River for a Bubbly Creek History Tour, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sat., Aug. 21, 2021, at Canal Origins Park, 1532 W. Fuller St., Chicago.
Friends' Ecology Outreach Manager Mark Hauser will lead a hike through the park and discuss history and water quality issues.
Officially called the South Fork of the South Branch of the Chicago River, Bubbly Creek is a 1.25 mile-long channel that begins near 38th Street and flows north to the South Branch alongside the Chicago neighborhood of McKinley Park.
