Central Manufacturing District Development Discussion

The Central Manufacturing District on the south side of Pershing Road between Western and Ashland avenues remains mostly underutilized. Join in a community discussion about how nearby residents and institutions might help promote sustainable job creation in the Central Manufacturing District to the benefit of adjacent neighborhoods.
This event runs 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Plant Chicago, 1400 W. 46th St., Chicago, and will include Plant Chicago founder John Edel, Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council Director Craig Chico and others. A tour of the Plant Chicago facility will be followed by discussion in the Whiner Beer Co. tap room.
