Learn how to reduce your tax burden at the Property Tax Appeals Workshop from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at the McKinley Park field house, 2210 W. Pershing Road, Chicago.
Hosted by Commissioner George Cardenas of the Cook County Board of Review, the event is co-sponsored by 12th Ward Alderwoman Anabel Abarca, Illinois 1st District State Senator Javier Cervantes and Illinois 2nd District State Representative Theresa Mah.
The workshop offers an opportunity to learn about the tax appeal process and how to appeal, with analysts available to answer questions in English, Spanish and Cantonese languages. Attendees should bring their second installment property tax bill or their Property Index Number (PIN).
