Presented by the Chicago Workers Cottage Initiative, the tour examines the McKinley Park neighborhood's workers cottages: humble vernacular architecture that comprises an important part of the neighborhood's history. Learn how these houses were built and changed over time by exploring a few blocks of the densest concentrations of Victorian cottages in the area, as well as the nearly fogotten neighbohood of Mopetown.

The tour is offered on a pay-what-you-can basis, with proceeds benefiting the non-profit Chicago Workers Cottage Initiative. The tour lasts about 1-1/2 hours and involves about a mile of walking.
