Get hands-on tips at the Better Health Cooking Demonstration from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays at the McKinley Park branch of the Chicago Public Library, 1915 W. 35th St., Chicago.
Presented by the Chicago Partnership for Health Promotion (CPHP), the event requires children younger than 13 years old to be accompanied by a guardan.
