Celebrate Pączki Fest from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Marz Community Brewing Co., 3630 S. Iron St., Chicago.

At the fest, enjoy Pączki (pronounced “Pownch-key” or “Pan Chky”) — a traditional Polish pastry that is released every Fat Tuesday by bakeries all over Chicagoland — and the release of Pączki Stout, a double milk stout brewed with lactose and cocoa nibs.

The Wici Song and Dance Theater performs traditional Polish dance at 4 p.m., and the Environmental Encroachment Marching Band performs around 6 p.m.

A limited amount of Pączki Stout, Pączki pastries and Pączki Fest T-shirts are available for online pre-order for pickup at the fest. Click here to order.

Taco Sublime will be preparing special Pączki sandwiches, other pastry chefs will be slinging treats, and special guest tavern pizza meistros WG Pizzas will be making pies for the menu.
