Christmas Tree Lighting

12th Ward Alderwoman Julia Ramirez presents a Christmas Tree Lighting from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the McKinley Park branch of the Chicago Public Library, 1915 W. 35th St., Chicago.

Drop in after school for cocoa, cookies, letters to Santa, coloring and crafting along with everyone’s favorite holiday tunes.

Ramirez will share a few words and light up the tree; help make the tree extra special by bringing an ornament to donate or make one at the event to contribute.
