Stephanie Dunn of Chicago Native Farm Yard will present Planting an Eco-friendly Bouquet from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at the McKinley Park branch of the Chicago Public Library, 1915 W. 35th St., Chicago.

This workshop will cover how to layer a garden for flowers that blossom throughout the season. Participants will learn how and when to plant bulbs, pollinator-friendly flowers, edible flowers and even a few vegetables to create varied and ecologically friendly bouquets.

This hands-on, kid-friendly workshop will also explore the library's container gardens looking for biodiversity. Participants will create a bouquet and take home organic flower seedlings.
