Zombie Disaster Survival Training

Spend Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) at the McKinley Park Library and learn how to survive a zombie apocalypse and other disasters. On Saturday, November 2 at 2:00 pm the Zombie Survival Training will be conducted by Nick Conrad, who also teaches classes about sustainable practices like hydroponics and home solar panels.

Zombie Survival Training Class topics include methods of food and water preparation, the decision to stay or flee your location, and the art of improvised weapons.

Participants will make a portable stove from empty soda cans and will be the first to enjoy a brand new special collection of Zombie and Post-Apocalyptic fiction as well as non-fiction books on survival skills.

Registration is required. Sign up at the circulation desk or by calling 312-747-6082. Parents must accompany kids under 13. The McKinley Park Branch of the Chicago Public Library is located at 1915 W 35th St.
