12th Ward Alderman George Cardenas offers Free Tax Preparation for individuals and families from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday from March 3 through April 14, 2018, at the 12th Ward office, 3476 S. Archer Ave., Chicago.
An appointment is required to attend: Call (773) 523-8250 to schedule an appointment.
When attending, bring the following documents:
- photo ID
- Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number
- a copy of prior years' tax returns
- all W2 forms, 1099 forms and 1098 forms from income sources
- a bank account number and routing number to support direct deposit
