ESL Literacy Tutor Training

Become a tutor and help adult immigrants learn English at Aquinas Literacy Center's tutor training, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the center at 3540 S. Hermitage Ave., Chicago. This is the second of a required two-part training program that also includes a session 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the preceding day (Friday, April 29).
Tutors will learn how to work with students for one-on-one sessions with the same student each week. All tutoring is conducted in English: Speaking another language is not needed, but native or near-native English fluency is required.
