True Grit Film Screening

Enjoy the True Grit Film Screening from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at the McKinley Park branch of the Chicago Public Library, 1915 W. 35th St., Chicago.

The 2010 film True Grit tells how an alcoholic U.S. Marshal and a 14-year-old girl track down her father's killer with the help of a Texas Ranger. As the three brave dangerous Indian territory, they discover their prey has fallen in with a more experienced criminal.

The film screening is free. True Grit is directed by Joel and Ethan Cohen and is rated PG-13.

The film screening is part of the Chicago Public Library's Community Cinema program.
