From Saturday, September 28, 2019 2:00 pm until 4:15 pm

Enjoy The Accountant Film Screening from 2 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at the McKinley Park branch of the Chicago Public Library, 1915 W. 35th St., Chicago.

The 2016 film The Accountant tells the story of Christian Wolff (played by Ben Affleck), a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the covers of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world's most dangerous criminal organizations. With the Treasury Department's Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.

The Accountant, a Warner Bros. film, is rated R and has a run time of 128 minutes. The film screening is free and part of the Chicago Public Library's Community Cinema program.
