Beyond Standing Rock Film Screening

Starting on Saturday, November 17, 1:00 pm

Take a journey across three modern stories of tribal sovereignty in America at the Beyond Standing Rock Film Screening, 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the McKinley Park branch of the Chicago Public Library, 1915 W. 35th St., Chicago.

This film presentation, part of the library's Native American Heritage program, shines a spotlight on the Dakota Access pipeline protest and a 170-year-long conflict between tribes and the U.S. government over independence, land ownership and control of resources.
