The 2013 film Dallas Buyers Club tells how In 1985 Dallas electrician and hustler Ron Woodroof works around the system to help AIDS patients get the medication they need after he is diagnosed with the disease. The film screening is free. Dallas Buyers Club is directed by Jean-Marc Valée and rated R.

The film screening is part of the Chicago Public Library's celebration of Pride Month, and it is supported by the Community Cinema program of the library system.
