The 1971 film Death in Venice tells how an ailing avant-garde composer becomes obsessed with the beauty of a young boy while vacationing at a resort. The film screening is free. Death in Venice is directed by Luchino Visconti and rated PG.

The film screening is part of the Chicago Public Library's celebration of Pride Month, and it is supported by the Community Cinema program of the library system.
