Enjoy the Cinderella Film Screening from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at the McKinley Park branch of the Chicago Public Library, 1915 W. 35th St., Chicago.

The 2015 film Cinderella tells how young Ella's merchant father remarries after the death of her mother. Ella welcomes her new stepmother and her daughters into the family home. But, when Ella's father unexpectedly passes away, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family. Despite the cruelty inflicted upon her, Ella is determined to honor her mother's dying words and to "have courage and be kind."

Cinderella, a Disney Studios film, is rated PG. The film screening is free and part of the Chicago Public Library's Community Cinema program.
