The post, which is open to all former members of the armed forces, continues to provide food and beverage service for its constituency, following state and municipal regulations to ensure safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Post 231 representatives noted how new organization and volunteering has rejuvenated its membership and public-facing activities. For the holidays, Post 231 plans to share Thanksgiving food baskets with needy neighborhood families and send Santa on direct deliveries to households to make sure every neighborhood child has a gift for Christmas.
