All of McKinley Park Now Qualifies for COVID Vaccination with Opening of 60609
All adult residents in Chicago's McKinley Park neighborhood now qualify to receive free COVID vaccinations at the United Center, with the opening of the 60609 zip code for Chicago's priority vaccination program. This joins the earlier eligibility for residents of zip code 60608, which covers McKinley Park north of 35th Street.
With today's announcement, all McKinley Park neighborhood residents are now eligible for the free vaccine.
The latest poster for Chicago's vaccination effort shares qualifying zip codes and signup info.Vaccinations take place at the United Center, 1901 W. Madison St., about 3-1/2 miles north of McKinley Park on Chicago's Near West Side. In addition to 60609 and 60608, the program is also now open to 60619, 60621, 60623, 60624, 60628, 60629, 60632, 60636, 60639, 60644, 60649, 60651, 60652 and 60653 zip codes.
The vaccination process requires booking an appointment, and free on-site parking and public transportation support is available. Once registered, a participant will receive details and an appointment receipt via email (or get other assistance for those who do not have Internet access).

Qualifying residents can sign up online at the United Center's Mass Vaccination scheduling web page at https://events.juvare.com/chicago/UCPOD/, and then use the voucher code CCVIVAXCHI21.
Qualifying residents who do not have Internet access can schedule an appointment by calling (312) 746-4835. Multilingual access and assistance for those with disabilities are available.
The Spanish language version of the Chicago United Center COVID vaccination poster provides information en español.Anyone who registers for a vaccination appointment, but does not live in a qualifying zip code, will have their appointment canceled.
