McKinley Park Loves Halloween

Published November 1, 2018

The McKinley Park neighborhood enjoyed a fine Halloween evening for trick-or-treating on Wednesday, October 31, bringing kids and parents in costume out to neighborhood streets. The evening was just part of the neighborhood's Halloween and harvest festivities, which saw schools, churches and households celebrating the season.

Nathanael Greene Elementary School at 35th and Wood streets held its first annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Tuesday, October 30, in the school parking lot, where staff, parent committees and community partners decorated their trunks and passed out treats to all students and school families. "It was one of the many fun and exciting events that Greene School sponsors," said community liaison Cindy Zamudio.

Photos from the Greene school event were contributed toward sharing with the community in this article, as are many others sent in by community members who wished to share their 2018 Halloween memories for McKinley Park.
