McKinley Park News - Civic Association Celebrates Holiday Season

The McKinley Park Civic Association, the McKinley Park neighborhood's longest-serving community group, celebrated the holiday season with a members party on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the McKinley Park branch of the Chicago Public Library.

Joined by Chicago 12th Ward Alderwoman Julia Ramirez, the association enjoyed pizza along with baked goodies and other holiday treats contributed by members.

In addition to noting some of the past accomplishments of 2023, association Vice President Sue Pletsch said plans are progressing for the 2024 annual educators banquet to be held in the spring.

The association will continue its meetings through 2024, scheduled by default on the first Wednesday of the month at the McKinley Park library, Pletsch said.
