Bring your hound at 11:30 a.m. for a puppy parade around the park, then attend the ground-breaking ceremony at noon. Support the McKinley Dog Park Advisory Council in their ongoing management of the space at the McKinley Dog Park Pizza Fund-Raiser on Monday, August 12.

The McKinley Park Advisory Council Meeting on Monday evening, August 12, provides updates on the latest park activities from the McKinley Park Advisory Council. The CAPS Meeting for Beat 912 on Wednesday, August 14, connects residents with neighborhood crime information and opportunities to connect with civic and Chicago Police Department resources.

Kids who have loved the library this summer won't want to miss the Summer Learning Challenge Finale Party on Wednesday, August 14. The McKinley Park branch of the Chicago Public Library continues its Community Cinema series on Saturday, August 17, with its Thor: Ragnarok Film Screening. Other library fun this week includes LEGO at the Library on Tuesday, August 13, and  Kids @ Play on Thursday, August 15.

The One More Customer event series is one of the only regular business get-togethers for the McKinley Park neighborhood, featuring a webcast and topic that kicks off small-group discussion and networking. Join the group on Wednesday morning, August 14, at Pacific Global Bank to dig into entrepreneurial strategies for owning one's time, instead of just managing it.
