History, Environment and Community Take Lead in This Week's Top Events

Would you like to see the McKinley Park Farmers Market continue in 2020? More volunteers and community support are desperately needed, say officers of the McKinley Park Advisory Council. Attend the council meeting on Monday night, January 13, to learn more and get involved.

Our neighborhood's roots get a boost from the launch of a local historical society, accompanied by a presentation on McKinley Park history at the McKinley Park Development Council meeting on Wednesday, January 15. On Thursday, January 16, head to the National Latino Education Institute to connect with Southwest Side environmental organizers.
