Pochos, the locally owned young restaurant at West 35th Street and South Seeley Avenue, has been placed on Chicago Magazine's "Hot List" for March 2020, a ranking of "10 places everyone's talking about and dining at (in order of heat)."

Landing at No. 8 on the list, Pochos gets the nod for their breakfast pambazo, which integrates one of the expertly crafted croissants from local baker Butterdough, also mentioned in the Chicago Magazine article.

McKinley Park neighborhood residents and food service industry vets Irene Acosta, Miguel Hernandez and Xavier Hernandez (no relation) started up Pochos last summer from weekend-only brunch service at the rehabilitated storefront at 2025 W. 35th St., Chicago.
