Producers, crew and cast set up in February 2024 for the filming of "Deli Boys" — a comedic crime series currently streaming on the Hulu service that includes a number of notable scenes from the show’s first season filmed in Chicago’s McKinley Park neighborhood.

The neighborhood’s leading set is the storefront on the southwest corner of West 35th and South Paulina streets. This building was dressed for the show — set in Philadelphia — to house the last remaining bodega of a deceased Pakistani-American crime kingpin.

Artists Got Paid

Marshfield Courts founder and Chairman Juan Chavez said the group was able to ensure payment to skate park artists whose work was depicted in the show.

“We got everyone compensated for use of their artwork to use on scene,” Chavez said. “If they’re going to use the court, let’s do it right.”
