McKinley Park’s Byline Bank branch presented one of the neighborhood’s most recent professional networking events on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
Hosted by Branch Manager Claudia Aleman and her staff at the branch at 1947 W. 35th St., Chicago, the event brought together business owners and operators from across the Southwest Side, including many from the McKinley Park neighborhood’s West 35th Street corridor.
In addition to drinks and a spread of Mexican entrees and sides from nearby neighborhood restaurant Tio’s Tamales, bank leaders hosted a raffle with giveaways donated by neighborhood businesses.
The event follows the 12th Ward’s Small Business Social that brought together several neighborhood enterprises to talk about ways to strengthen the local business community. Its next planned meeting is July 7, 2025, at at to-be-announced location.
