Join parents, families and community members for the Velma Thomas Community Meeting from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Evergreen Academy Middle School, 3537 S. Paulina St., Chicago.

Presented by Chicago Public Schools, the meeting focuses on the needs for a new building for the Velma Thomas Early Childhood Center, which is losing its space in the former Catholic school building at 3625 S. Hoyne Ave., Chicago, because the Chicago Archdiocese is selling its property.
