New English learners and those who want to connect with them can do so at Performing Everyday Life from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Aquinas Literacy Center, 1751 w. 35th St., Chicago.

Performing Everyday Life is a seven-week course with discussions focused on behavior of everyday life at work, in public places and with family, friends and strangers. The course explores social roles, first impressions, social rules and public observation. It is geared toward English learners and is free and open to all community members.
