Since 2008, ¡Buen Provecho! has showcased the diversity of Pilsen’s food establishments and its famous Calle Dieciocho or 18th Street through this annual restaurant walking tour. “Buen Provecho” is the equivalent of bon appétit but means more than enjoy your meal. In the Mexican culture or for Spanish-speakers, it’s an important yet polite two-word salutation that shows good manners and an expression of good wishes when you’re about to eat.

Partial proceeds benefit ESDC’s Food for Hope (Emergency Free Food Distribution Program). ESDC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to economic and community development in the Pilsen neighborhood and beyond.
