Omega Delta Youth Baseball & Softball League is one of the preeminent community groups in McKinley Park for young people, hosting dozens of games for hundreds of kids and their families every season, primarily from Hoyne Park in the McKinley Park neighborhood.

Registration is now open for 2022, with a $50 early-bird discount available through February. Players and teams range from four-year-old T-Ballers through serious and talented 18-year-old girls softball players.

Registration includes a full uniform, invitation to the awards picnic plus an award for every child, approximately 15 games, tickets to a Minor League Baseball or Professional Softball game, opening day and All Star festivities, and a whole lot more.

Personally, as a participating parent with a child who's now played many seasons, this is also a great way to meet new, nice people and get to know your neighbors. Omega Delta is also focused on learning and training the kids, and it's inspiring to see how much players improve both within the season and year-to-year.
