Dungeons & Dragons gaming for charity on Sept. 24 was created by Justin Kerr
Are you a fan of
Dungeons & Dragons
, or have you ever wanted to learn how to play? On Saturday, Sept. 24, the
Level Eater: Bonus Action
daylong dungeoneering confab offers both intro sessions for new and casual players (and families), and an evening game across multiple tables that continues
Level Eater
: the Chicagoland region's premier ongoing D&D experience, now in its 13th year.
The fun takes place at Marz Community Brewing Co. , at 3630 S. Iron St. in Chicago's McKinley Park neighborhood: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for intro games, and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the full role playing dive into the fantastic town of "Portsbridge."
All proceeds from the event go to support the very worthy non-profit Public Media Institute (PMI) , which powers many local arts and media programs - including Lumpen Radio - right here on Chicago's Southwest Side.
Get your tickets for Level Eater: Bonus Action at their signup page here:

I personally am honored to have been chosen to be one of the Dungeon Masters for this event: I've been playing D&D since the 1970s and have so enjoyed the latest developments with the game. I was also fortunate to attend and play at the last in-person Level Eater in January 2020 at the Co-Prosperity Sphere in Bridgeport.
Dungeon Masters receive remuneration for working this event, but I'll be donating all I receive to the Public Media Institute on behalf of the McKinley Park News: In addition to contributing to a worthy local cause, I have so much fun being a DM I can hardly accept payment for it!
So no matter if you're already a Dungeons & Dragons fan or have wondered what it's like to play, get thyself to Marz Brewing on Sept. 24 for Level Eater: Bonus Action!
