South Archer Avenue bisects Chicago's McKinley Park neighborhood and other community areas, and the City of Chicago is seeking feedback and ideas for improving this major corridor on the Southwest Side.

The Moving Archer Forward initiative is a Chicago Department of Planning and Development study to evaluate how Archer Avenue is used, likely development opportunities supported by rezoning and how to support Equitable Transit-Oriented Development (ETOD) near Orange Line El stations.

Click here to take the survey ( Spanish version here ; Chinese version here ).

The survey runs through Halloween, Friday, October 31, 2025. McKinley Park neighborhood residents, businesses, organizations and stakeholders all have an interest in seeing Archer thoughtfully developed, so reply today!
